Israel Adesanya has finally achieved a win over his arch nemesis Alex Pereira. With a huge second-round knockout under his belt, Adesanya has proved that he can conquer anything. While the fighter is still 1-1 in the UFC, he has shut down any hopes of a rematch with Pereira. Izzy’s performance garnered him many praises, but his octagon interview won the hearts of many. He also ended up getting praise from a fan who happens to be Boxing legend Muhammad Ali‘s grandson.
After his win over Poatan, Israel Adesanya had reached a euphoric state. He proceeded to give an incredible post-fight interview and mentioned the joy he felt after going through hell for the achievement. “You’ll never feel this level of happiness if you don’t go for something,” said Adesanya. Nico Ali Walsh, Muhammad Ali’s grandson, was a huge fan of the Stylebender’s speech. Walsh took to Instagram to post Adesanya’s speech on his story with the caption “He kept it real.” Nico Ali Walsh comes from one of the greatest names in the sports and entertainment industry. His grandfather, Muhammad Ali, was one of the greatest and most influential athletes who ever lived. Inheriting Muhammad Ali’s skill, Nico Walsh is currently 8-0 in his professional boxing career.

In an interview with TMZ Adesanya was asked if he saw a lot of similarities between him and Muhammad Ali?“I won’t say I do see a comparison but there are certain things I take inspiration from his life that I draw inspiration from in my situation and I use it to fuel me,” said Adesanya. Israel Adesanya also drew inspiration from Muhammad Ali when he released his clothing collection prior to UFC 287 involving the legendary boxer.
