“I’m just going to freestyle” – Israel Adesanya gives his honest game plan for Jared Cannonier fight at UFC 276
Jared Cannonier- Israel Adesanya
If we actually get to see what Israel Adesanya has been planning to do inside the octagon at UFC 276, the fans are looking at an absolute blockbuster of a fight. The Last Stylebender is looking to have fun with his dance partner Jared Cannonier in the main event fight this weekend.
Israel Adesanya has been in the UFC for only 4 years and has already achieved more than what many fighters only dream of. The fighter has already etched his name in the history books as one of the best middleweight fighters to ever fight in the UFC octagon and has earned a lot of praise for being one of the most active champions. Adesanya became the champion in 2019 and three years later, he is already looking to make his sixth title defense as a champion.
However, Adesanya is not worried about the belt and any other accolades from here on. The Nigerian champion has one motive and it is to have fun in the octagon and satisfy the creative striker in him. In a recent interview ahead of his PPV bout, Israel talks about his upcoming fight against Cannonier and reveals how he plans on having fun this weekend at the T-Mobile Arena in Nevada.
Israel Adesanya plans to prey on Jared Cannonier in his title fight
Adesanya is not looking for a quick knockout unlike his opponent, Cannonier. Adesanya plans on having fun with his opponent and punishing him with slow death. Israel has often been criticized for fighting a boring fight and looking to win fights by scoring more points than his opponent. Adesanya does not care about any of the criticisms anymore.
“I am going to take my time like Anderson Silva. F**k these c*nts. I don’t care if you came to see some action and within the first minute if you boo – I don’t give a f**k,” said Adesanya talking in an exclusive interview posted on his YouTube channel. “I’m going to take my time, I am going to be in my zone, I want to get the reaction that I want from him.”
“I’ll freestyle from there. I am just going to freestyle. Honestly, I feel like the way I touch him and the amount of times I am going to touch him, he’s not going to survive,” said Adesanya. Izzy reveals that he is not going with no gameplan into this title fight and is going to focus on “styling on” Jared. Are you excited to watch Israel do what he does best against Cannonier at UFC 276?
