Israel Adesanya recently spoke about the UFC 300 card. The former UFC middleweight champion expressed a desire to hear Bruce Buffer address Jim Miller with his wild, expletive-filled nickname. Miller will compete against Bobby Green at UFC 300 and wanted an expletive-filled nickname to be addressed.

Israel Adesanya and teammate Dan Hooker recently shared a video previewing the UFC 300 fights. Ahead of veteran Jim Miller’s fight, Izzy revealed Buffer should give the legend what he wants. Adesanya argued that such an announcement would benefit the UFC 300 card and honor Miller as a legend.

If he does it this one time for Jim Miller, who has fought at UFC 100, UFC 200 and now UFC 300. I think it's a good way to honor him. Bro, the whole place will blow their f**** minds. Surprise everyone.

Dan Hooker did agree with Adesanya but believed that Bruce Buffer remains a professional and would not curse during the announcements. The legendary announcer has been with the UFC for decades but has never cursed on live PPV events. However, if it happens, fight fans are expected to get extremely hyped for the fight as well as for the overall event.

Miller’s longevity remains one of the most impressive things. He holds the record for the fight appearances and total wins in the UFC. Moreover, he is the only fighter to compete at UFC 100, UFC 200, and UFC 300. As such, many fans believed that fulfilling Miller’s wish would be a great way to honor him. It is also something Adesanya emphasized on his YouTube channel.

Jim Miller recalls thinking of retiring at UFC 200

Jim Miller has competed in the UFC since 2008. Sixteen years later, Miller continues to defy expectations. Before his 43rd UFC fight at UFC 300, Miller discussed his long-term health problems and how he intended to retire at UFC 200.

Back in 2015, Miller was identified as having Lyme disease and was concerned about the injuries he dealt as a fighter. This almost made him retire at UFC 200.

You’ve got nerve issues and numbness and stuff. Yeah, you’re going to have memory problems…I figured this was all just from being a professional..I was willing to take my gloves off in the octagon at UFC 200.

However, despite all odds, the fighter didn’t give up and is still fighting for the promotion. He has put on stellar performances against younger talents. Miller has indicated that he has no intention of retiring anytime soon. Therefore, he isn’t putting a time restriction on how many more fights he will take on before ending his career after UFC 300.

Beyond that, Miller has thought of accomplishing one more professional milestone. According to the legend, going out with 30 UFC wins is something no one has ever achieved. If Miller reaches the record, it will be the most unbreakable record in UFC history.

In case you missed it!
