This year In February, Indian UFC fighter Anshul Jubli registered his name as the first-ever Indian Origin fighter to get a UFC contract successfully. The entire nation praised him for his achievement and gave their love to him.
Recently Indian UFC Fighter Anshul Jubli was on TRS show i.e. The Ranveer Show where he opened up on many things related to his MMA journey his first amateur fight, his first professional first, and also his first UFC fight. No like everyone his UFC debut went with struggles, especially on the fight day. Anshul won the fight but the reason to finish early was shocking.
Anshul Revealed that he had covid symptoms when he fought against Jeka Saragih on his UFC debut. He said “When I reached Vegas I was not feeling well. I do breathing exercises regularly where I used to hold 30-sec breath and then 30-sec breath that I couldn’t do.“ (translated from Hindi)
Anshul Jubli’s symptoms were found but he was unaware, “I woke up I was having a cough and then I looked at my coach we were not talking because if we talked it would have an impact on the fight. During the Sparring session, I was getting tired very early. But my coach was talking with his eyes.” (translated from Hindi)
Indian UFC Fighter Anshul Jubli revealed his plan and was shocked by the debut match
Plan for Anshul was different for the match but he changed the plan because it was like do or die for him. Anshul said on The Ranveer Show, “When I entered the cage I changed the plan, I had a different plan for the fight I will just go first I look at the opponent’s momentum and then I will take him down because he is an explosive opponent. But I changed my plan because I was getting tired so I thought of finishing the fight early.” (translated from Hindi)
When this Indian UFC Fighter’s symptoms were identified, the post-fight backstage story was revealed by Anshul “After the fight backstage I collapsed. Then when I was in the hospital Doctor told me I am having Covid Symptoms. The doctor asked If I had covid earlier I replied no. After some treatment I realized I should go home because I thought they can be lying.” (translated from Hindi)
Jubli just want to reach India’s flight, he told “Then after some time I just took my things and asked the doctor to discharge me, I want to go home, and I will wear a mask throughout the flight because I just wanted to reach my home that’s it. And then I reached home and I was very relaxed.” (translated from Hindi)
Jubli currently holds an impressive record of 7 wins and 0 losses in the UFC. He will be looking forward to putting the Asian country on the map.
