Jailton Almeida wants to beat Derrick Lewis and get his hands on the UFC heavyweight title shot as soon as possible. Lewis and Jailton Almeida will fight head at UFC Sao Paulo, which is scheduled to take place on November 4, 2023, at the Ginásio do Ibirapuera in São Paulo, Brazil.
Both fighters are going to headline the event in a clash of heavyweight styles, which has created a lot of hype around the card. Ahead of the fight, the Brazilian recently gave an interview to TMZ in which he talked about the upcoming fight and what he expects from it. He said,

Shortly before his upcoming fight, Derrick Lewis has run into some legal issues. “The Black Beast” was reportedly arrested earlier today and then freed on “a $100 personal recognition bond,” according to an ABC13 story. The knockout artist drove 136 mph in a 50 mph zone. Lewis was allegedly driving a red Lamborghini in Houston, Texas, and he was swerving erratically between lanes.
Lewis has been scheduled to appear in court on December 27th for the misdemeanor charge of dangerous driving. It has been reported that he exceeded the speed limit by almost three times.
