“Why young girls are looking up to Cardi B and Kardashians,” Jake Shields DEFENDS Andrew Tate’s message for men

Andrew Tate- Jake Shields

While Andrew Tate has single-handedly influenced the world of social media for men, Jake Shields has somewhat come out as an admirer of the former kickboxing world champion. Over the past 2 months, Tate has exploded all over the internet, primarily through Youtube shorts and TikTok, and has been listened to almost all over the world for his message of striving to be the best for men, with some of the lines coming blatantly under the category of misogyny.

Shields is an MMA Legend, a former Strikeforce middleweight champion and a former UFC title challenger, the grappling specialist has done it all in the sport. Shields trains out of the Cesar Gracie Fight Team alongside the likes of the Diaz brothers and many more notable fighters. Shields wins include the likes of Dan Henderson, Tyron Woodley, Demian Maia, Jason Miller, Robbie Lawler, Paul Daley, Carlos Condit, Yushin Okami, Ray Cooper and many more.

In a recent Twitter thread, Shields comes out saying in the first tweet “People are freaking out about young boys looking up to Andrew Tate but totally fine with young girls looking up to Cardi B and the Kardashians” indicating that while boys getting inspired by Tate is a serious problem for the people yet they show their hypocrisy by allowing girls to look up to rapper Cardi B and the Kardashians, the biggest family in the history of the television entertainment industry.

In the follow-up tweets, Shields says “Tate’s Main message is stop being lazy and making excuses and go work hard and get in shape and make money Cardi’s Is go do drugs, fuck random men and go through life as a brain dead Moron. Dozens of rapers Have songs glorifying murder but Andrew Tate’s the biggest problem”

What do you make of Shields defending Tate? Is he right or is he blatantly ignoring the parts which are objectively misogynistic and are said by Tate? Where do you put Shields amongst the greatest fighters of their time? Shields has left the sport in competitive spirits ever since being TKO-ed in 2018 by Ray Cooper III, the man whose father Shields defeated more than a decade ago. He is now a full-time trainer for the coming generation of MMA fighters and is mostly associated with Bellator MMA bantamweight Patrick Mix.
