Jamahal Hill isn’t scared of any UFC heavyweight and wants all the smoke. At the historic UFC 300, Hill is scheduled to challenge Alex Pereira for the light heavyweight championship. The former champion has not engaged in combat for fifteen months due to an Achilles ailment.

In a recent interview with GIVEMESPORT, Jamahal Hill talked about the upcoming fight and his plans to move up to the heavyweight division to challenge Tom Aspinall. ‘Sweet Dreams’ mentioned that he normally walks around at 240 pounds and doesn’t believe in him having a power disadvantage. According to the fighter, the result of the fight will depend on who hits first irrespective of power.

I usually walk around maybe like 240… What the f*** is a power advantage? The game is, it doesn't matter who is more powerful. What it comes down to is who's going to hit who first, but we both got power. You can be a thousand times more powerful than me. I hit you first. What does that mean? That’s game

During a recent interview with Kevin Iole, Hill revealed taking important advice from Izzy on how to deal with Pereira. There were also rumors of Izzy returning to the octagon this year after his long hiatus.

100%, he provided some great insight. We had a great conversation, he answered all my questions, and he was just an open book with anything I wanted to know about his experience. Being in there with Alex, he opened up and he shared with me.

Before moving up to the light heavyweight division, ‘Poatan’ and Izzy had an intense rivalry at middleweight. Izzy is the only fighter in the UFC to beat Pereira and must have provided Hill with some important insights from his experience.
