Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jamahal Hill had to vacate the title after he suffered a ruptured Achilles. Alex Pereira and Jiri Prochazka fought for the vacant title in his stead at UFC 295; Pereira won the fight. Hill has an active YouTube channel, and he recently introduced a new show on it, Bro I’m Baffled.

On the show’s first episode, Hill went off to Amazon Prime’s new adult-animated web series, Hazbin Hotel. The basic plot of the movie had Satan as a good being. Nonetheless, this is what Hill said about the series’ usage of Satan as a hero.

That's just straight-up programming. In that, it can also show you that the people on that side, that support things like that and those types of ideals, they can make anything, anybody look like a victim, make anybody look bad, and make anybody look like a victim.

Unlike what Hill presumed, the series is actually about Satan’s daughter, Charlie Morningstar, and her girlfriend Vaggie. Nonetheless, Hill stated that the show will negatively influence kids. Even though the series is for adults, he did not think kids would not see it. Hill even compared the series to what Sean Strickland said about corporations making the system program the kids.

Hill is not a close friend of Strickland but had him winning at UFC 297 against Dricus Du Plessis. However, Du Plessis won via split decision and became the first South African UFC champion. Nonetheless, Hill agreed it was a close fight that could’ve gone either way.

Jamahal Hill goes off at the UFC pound-for-pound rankings system

Dricus Du Plessis winning the middleweight title got him ranked #8 in the UFC pound-for-pound rankings. Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jamahal Hill was not a fan of it. Hill was once on the pound-for-pound list, but his inactivity cost him the position. However, he did not like the politics behind the ranking system. He vented out his frustration on X.

When Hill won the vacant title fight with a victory over Glover Teixeira, he got the 14th position in the rankings. He would later move up to 12. Hill had a dominant record-breaking performance against Teixeira and felt that the UFC should’ve ranked him much higher. What upset Hill the most was that Dricus Du Plessis got eighth position even though he only won via split decision. Alexandre Pantoja also got into the top 10 with a split-decision title victory over Brandon Moreno.

Rumors circulate of a light heavyweight title fight headlining UFC 300, which is without a main event. Hill’s manager Brian Butler has already revealed that UFC 300 was too soon for Hill. Therefore, Magomed Ankalaev might get the title shot against Alex Pereira at UFC 300.
