“He’s a dumbass” – Jamahal Hill has fierce words for “loud mouth” Khamzat Chimaev
Hill recently mocked Chimaev on a podcast appearance
Jamahal Hill is not a fan of Khamzat Chimaev and his ways. The light heavyweight contender recently took shots at the undefeated chechen over his demeanour while on the Wah Gwaan Podcast along with UFC fighters, Ode Osborne, Joaquin Buckley and UFC CutmanCutman, Brad Tate.
Hill, fresh from his TKO victory over former title challenger, Thiago Santos was talking about the general trend of new fighters talking trash beyond their actual capabilities. “You got m****f***** that talk way worse, talk about doing way crazier shit that can’t back it up”, said Hill as he was interrupted by Buckley who shouted out Chimaev’s name.
Hill’s way changed completely as his voice shifted from a serious look to that more of an annoyance. “That M*****F***** just sound dumb man”, said Hill who joined in Buckley, mocking Chimaev by saying, ” Smeshing me Money”.
Hill then went on to do a complete impersonation of Chimaev saying, “ ‘I kill this guy, I f*** this guy, I don’t care bro, I don’t care, I just got my fighter (gibberish) ‘ shut the f*** up bro, get the f*** out of here” At this point cutman Tate jokingly asked Hill, “Who hurt you? “
Is Jamahal Hill vs Khamzat Chimaev a fight waiting to happen?
A fight between Hill and Chimaev is possible but not one the matchmakers would want to see right now. Chimaev would likely focus on the lower weight classes while he’s still young and can make the cut. Currently, it’s unclear after his recent weight miss what division he might stick to, with his coaches suggesting a move to middleweight while Chimaev has called out welterweight contender, Colby Covington.
Hill on the other hand is a natural light heavyweight spending his entire career in the division with exception of a few catchweight bouts. Winning all of his last three in brutal fashion, he earned the performance of the night in two of these outings with his most recent win over Santos gaining him the fight of the night.

Hill is yet to be tested against a seasoned wrestler like Chimaev though the higher weight class might work in the American’s favour. In his last outing against a grappler, Hill lost via TKO to Paul Craig, after he dislocated a shoulder trying to escape a triangle.
