#14 UFC Flyweight contender, Jeff Molina has been suspended by the Nevada State Athletic Commission. An investigation related to his head coach James Krause in relation to the UFC betting scandal revealed Molina’s involvement. The fighter was allegedly involved in “some substantial way,” as per the Deputy Attorney General.

Krause was also suspended in December 2022 after an investigation was carried out for a suspected betting scandal and match-fixing. At UFC Vegas 64, Darrick Minner lost the fight via KO/TKO in the first round. However, the betting odds on different sports books changed dramatically as the fight went on. Darrick Minner became a huge underdog by the time he got KO’d.

The investigation carried out by the Nevada State Athletic Commission later revealed that Minner failed to disclose a pre-existing injury before UFC Vegas 64 loss. Minner and Krause were later suspended by the Athletic Commission until further notice.
