Jiri Prochazka reacts to the insane ending of the UFC Vegas 54 headliner between Jan Blachowicz and Aleksandar Rakic

Jiri Prochazka and Jan Blachowicz
Jan Blachowicz won his first fight after losing the UFC light heavyweight championship.
In the UFC Fight Night main event on Saturday in Las Vegas, the former champion defeated Aleksandar Rakic by TKO of the third round.
It was a disappointing finale to a competitive contest that had lasted two rounds. When Rakic moved backward after a leg kick from Blachowicz, his knee appeared to give out. Referee Mark Smith stopped the fight after Rakic went to the canvas in pain.

The first blood was drawn by Rakic, who slashed Jan’s left eyelid. Blachowicz landed some hard punches on the inside, but the opening act was a close call. Rakic won the second round with a massive takedown and kept it until the final bell. Rakic’s leg buckled under his own weight in the third frame, forcing him to take a step back.
The referee intervened and stopped the bout after Rakic slumped and began gripping his knee in pain. It’s unlikely that Jan intended to win this way, but this is prize fighting, and the previous champion could be given another shot.
Title aspirant Jiri Prochazka sends heartfelt message to Aleksandar Rakic

Jiri Prochazka, who will defend his light heavyweight title against Glover Teixeira in the UFC 275 main event on June 9 in Singapore, was just 10 years old when the Brazilian champion made his professional MMA debut in June 2002.
Prochazka claimed he’s concentrating on his grappling in preparation for his first UFC title fight. Teixeira holds the record for most submission victories in 205-pound history, and if Prochazka is going to beat him, he says he must be flawless.
Jiri being from the same weight class, congratulated Jan on winning the bout and with class wished Rakic a healthy recovery.
He took to Twitter and stated, “Congrats to WIN Jan And soon recovery Rakic”
