Joaquin Buckley stunned the MMA world with his destruction of Vicente Luque. The winning blows came at the 3:17 mark of Round 2 after heavy ground-and-pound. More than attributing his win to his skills, or the opponents’ mistakes, he alluded to disgraced coach James Krause as the reason.
The former MMA coach’s alleged role-fixing his fighter Darrick Minner for a skid despite injury, incurred in an exile for Krause. However, a nonchalant Krause recently boasted of overcoming a $5 million debt due to his knowledge. Now, Joaquin Buckley took shots at Krause, indicating the coach paid off Luque in a hilarious social media rant.

Buckley’s skit naturally comes as an April Fool’s practice, hinting that Krause set him off to lose. The post by Krause (@TheJamesKrauseMMA) came on 30th March about his success away from combat sports. His post had a clickbait headline of being millions in debt; a read-through reveals the real estate investor boasting about the practices of overcoming it. The 170lber Buckley used Vicente Luque‘s flawed performance to suggest the fighter took a dive. However, from his demeanor, it is evident that the KO artist was trolling.
This isn’t unlike Joaquin Buckley’s long trend of going the distance with his impromptu disses and skits. He once dragged peer Ian Garry‘s wife into a doctored adultery skit long before the couple infamously faced similar wrath online. Nevertheless, Buckley is having a time of his life. He roasted Kevin Holland for losing at UFC 299. The fighter might not stop talking for a while as he is a ranked contender with a bright future ahead.
