UFC color commentator and podcast host Joe Rogan is also a star standup comedian. Rogan does sold-out comedy shows regularly which is why he does not always find time to commentate on fights. Through his time as a comedian he has made several celebrity friends but none match the craziness of Joey Diaz.
Joey Diaz has certainly lived an adventurous life, to say the least. While the 60-year-old comedian is clean now, he was involved in some shady business back in the day. Regardless, Diaz is a great friend of Joe Rogan which is why the podcast host has some hilarious stories revolving around Joey. This time around Former UFC fighter Chael Sonnen came in with a Joey Diaz story during his time on Joe Rogan’s podcast.
Sonnen narrated his story where he was just getting into American politics with Joey Diaz. During that time former President Barrack Obama had made a rule on inclusive bathrooms. Chael Sonnen asked Diaz about his opinion on the matter and was met with a hilarious response. ” Chael Sonnen I have been taking dumps in the women’s bathroom since I was five years old. And believe me, I have dealt with the consequences,” said Diaz. He later added that since Joey’s mother used to own a restaurant he used to clean women’s bathroom and sit there.
Joe Rogan simply burst into laughter hearing this but as Sonnen progressed with his story Rogan was left gasping for air. Diaz also revealed that if he dropped his cocaine in the men’s bathroom he would leave it there. However, dropping it in the women’s bathroom he could still use it as Diaz would ” lick it up,”. Hopefully meaning the women’s bathrooms are well-sanitized.
When Joey Diaz convinced his friend that Joe Rogan was involved with CIA
UFC color commentator and podcast host Joe Rogan almost had his friend convinced he was working with the CIA. However, none of this was his doing. His friend and comedian Joey Diaz over time played a prank on their common friend Eddie Bravo that convinced him Rogan was involved with the CIA.
As Diaz went into detail he added that he had planted a fake camera in Rogan’s studio. He made sure to point out the camera to Bravo whenever they were in the building. He also hired one of his friends who owned a black police car to park outside Rogan’s studio. Diaz also asked the friend to speed away as soon as Bravo exited the building.
Given the popularity of Joe Rogan’s show, he’s had former FBI and secret agents on his show a couple of times. This only made things easy for Diaz as it made his story more plausible. After going to such lengths and due to Rogan having former agents on his show Bravo started believing Joey Diaz. He was convinced that Joe Rogan was involved with the CIA but later was told the truth.
