UFC commentator Joe Rogan does not have a staunch political stance. However, he has recently found disdain for a lot of the policies of the left-leaning Democrats in the US. Rogan is a fervent critique of President Joe Biden. Moreover, Rogan is also not a fan of Gavin Newsom, the Governor of California. Rogan had a residence in California before he shifted to Texas. One of the reasons for the shift is the comparatively lesser taxes in Texas. Another reason for the shift is the policies of the state.

Comedian Bobby Lee was a recent guest on Joe Rogan Experience. On the podcast, Rogan went off to the state of California. Gavin Newsom was the indirect target of Rogan’s rant. This was after he spoke highly of Texas. Nonetheless, this is what Rogan had to say about California.

California went nuts, man. It's gone like full communist; it's out of its f*cking mind. And their approach to law enforcement is so ins*ne. The no cash bail, the letting people out for committing violent crimes, the f*cking not stopping people for stealing up to whatever money it is, what is it, $900 now? I think they raised it. I think they made it a little higher. San Francisco is non-existent.

Bobbly Lee agreed with Rogan’s assessment and even went on to say that he doesn’t do comedy in California. Moreover, Rogan added that someone like Rudy Giuliani, the former Mayor of New York known for his fight against organized crime and sex trafficking, remains necessary to clean up the state.

In addition to Newsom and Biden, Justin Trudeau is another politician Rogan hates. Trudeau, the Canadian Prime Minister, made policies that Rogan does not seem to like. Sean Strickland, who headlined UFC 297 in Vancouver, Canada, shares a similar sentiment. UFC 297 at Scotiabank Arena witnessed anti-Trudeau chants during a preliminary card fight.

Joe Rogan talks about his past political stance

Joe Rogan hosts the podcast Joe Rogan Experience, which is streamed exclusively on Spotify. Rogan recently renewed the multi-million dollar contract that will not be exclusive to Spotify. Rogan discussed a wide variety of subjects on his podcast, and more often than not, Rogan and his guests delve into political discussions.

Joe Rogan’s current political stance is very different from the one from 10 years ago. Rogan spoke about it on his podcast episode with comedian Bobby Lee. This is what he said.

I was 100% a left-leaning person who lived in Los Angeles. I was 100%, I never voted Republican my whole life; I was very left-leaning, especially with any social issues. When it comes to financial things, I'm a little bit more conservative, but at the end of the day, way more left than I am right.

However, Rogan distanced himself from the left now. Rogan is a critique of the mask mandates and trans-inclusion policies of the left. He never thought that he would be where he is now politically. Bobby Lee also shared the same assessment.
