After a long time away from the octagon, Conor McGregor will be making his return. He appeared as a coach in the latest season of The Ultimate Fighter and will likely fight Michael Chandler at the end of this year. However, despite the announcement of the fight McGregor is seen partying over the globe. While some fans find it worrying, Joe Rogan is happy for the Irishman. He even went as far as to defend McGregor’s lifestyle against Cam Hanes.

Cam Hanes, is an accomplished writer, hunter and archery spokesperson. He is also an ultra-marathon runner, who ran over 100 miles straight in 29 hours. Hanes has trained with a couple of fighters from UFC like Michael Chandler and Colby Covington in the past. During his appearance on ‘ The Joe Rogan Experience ‘ Hanes stated that he wished to train with the wolf. Although Rogan liked the idea, he wanted Khamzat to get a dietician first as failed to make weight for his fight with Nate Diaz. Hanes later added that he also wanted to train with Conor McGregor but complained about Conor’s current lifestyle.

I want Conor to stop partying and get serious. He’s got so much talent, so much ability. He can party and be a f* *** madman when you’re 40 and you got no other choice, ” said Hanes. While Rogan partly agreed with the ultra marathon runner, he believed Conor had earned every bit of it. “ Why did he become famous in the first place, why did he become successful in the first place, so you can live like a f*** baller,” said Joe Rogan.

Former double-division champion Conor McGregor is one of the most successful fighters in UFC. McGregor has cashed out millions of dollars through his professional fighting career and amassed a net worth of $ 200 million through his different ventures. It is no surprise that a lot of fighters aspire to achieve what the Notorious has and step away from the fight game for good.

However, Conor McGregor insists on continuing his fighting career to this day, despite the adversities. During his recent interview with The Project, McGregor detailed down exactly why he wants to keep on fighting. “It’s a tough business man, why would I keep doing this? You know I just love this so much, it’s my life. I need it like we need air in our lungs. I need competition, I need to feel that feeling, I need to feel that canvas on my feet. Feel that impact of collision and that’s just something part of my being, “ said Conor.

McGregor’s love for the sport is truly commendable and despite the losses on his record he keeps on moving forward. The Irishman recently coached in the latest season of The Ultimate Fighter and will make his return to the octagon against Michael Chandler soon.
