This time, it is about Miller Lite beer and ‘identity politics.’

Recently, Millet Lite beer released a commercial that made its rounds in the media. The message of the commercial was to be against objectifying women in popular media by displaying women in bikinis. And they also claimed that women were responsible for the invention of beer. The commercial struck a chord with the podcast host. An enraged Joe Rogan went on a tirade about the commercial and ‘identity politics.’

Joe Rogan, alongside Jack Carr, watched the commercial and spoke on it. “I really hate identity politics with a passion,” said the UFC commentator. He then continued, “It’s so stupid. Human beings made beer. And, some human beings look good in bikinis. I’d like to see a pie chart in how many women are actually involved in making beer or drinking beer,” said Joe Rogan about the two-month-old beer commercial.

The UFC commentator is often known to talk about politics on his show. Joe Rogan’s audience mainly consists of the right-leaning group. Rogan provides his opinions on things that tend to be controversial. He also talked about the Bud Light beer controversy, which gained a lot of attention.

When Bud Light beer received a lot of backlash for advocating Dylan Mulvaney, a trans woman, they released a commercial. The public received the advertisement in question to be back-tracking from its original message. Conservative fans of the beer were not happy with both outcomes. Joe Rogan being one of them, criticized the commercial.

The corporations, we wanna think of them as being these impossibly large machines that make money and they are. But, they’re just run by people and some people are dorks. And, those dorks get important jobs and they put Dylan Mulvaney on a Bud Light can,” said Joe Rogan about the initial controversy caused by Bud Light.
