Joe Rogan doesn’t leave any topic out of his discussion on his Spotify Podcast, ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’. Recently, the UFC color commentator did a podcast with Dave Portnoy, the founder of Barstool Sports. The pair talked about the political condition of America. Rogan then brought up the case of Donald Trump and how he was different from any other politician.
“And the morons had a king. There’s a lot of morons. And it doesn’t matter what he’s saying, like, for them, he represents them. ‘He’s not perfect, but at least he’s real’ – like there’s that sort of thought process that he played with,” Rogan said while mimicking a Trump supporter.
“And also people that didn’t, they didn’t feel represented by someone who was ever in charge. And now this guy is, and it’s their guy,” added Rogan.
Rogan has a huge audience of young minds and his podcast is a great place for any politician to share their views and start a campaign. This is one of the major reasons Rogan avoids calling them. However, he never shies away from discussing the same with other experts or activists. In the past, Joe Rogan has even said no to Trump from coming into his show.
Joe Rogan doesn’t have plans to call Donald Trump on his podcast
Rogan has found himself as the focus of controversies on multiple occasions. From being canceled for saying the ‘N-word to getting accused of spreading misinformation about COVID and vaccines.
However, this never stopped the 55-year-old from making content and publishing it online. A few months ago, Rogan was at the Lex Friedman show where he mentioned that he was not a supporter of Donald Trump. According to Rogan, he got the opportunity to have Trump on his show multiple times but he didn’t want it.
*I’m not a Trump supporter in any way, shape, or form. I’ve had the opportunity to have him on my show more than once, I’ve said no every time,” Rogan said. “I don’t want to help him, I’m not interested in helping him.”
Even if Rogan doesn’t want it, fans really think that a conversation between Rogan and Trump would be an interesting one. Both individuals are known for their straightforwardness and it will definitely be an entertaining episode.
