Joe Rogan might be one of the biggest MMA connoisseurs but he will never shy away from talking about other sports on his Spotify podcast. Recently the UFC commentator/comedian had one of the rising stars in the comedy world, Andrew Schulz on his podcast, and the two discussed the thrills of racing culture and F1 Racing.

Driving a car around a racing circuit at scary levels of speed is no easy task and Rogan acknowledges that too. Rogan himself is an auto-head and loves his cars. In the podcast, he and Schulz watch a video that compares a sports car GT and an actual F1 racing car. The difference is massive!

“That is wild sh*t, man! You have to be f**king wild!” said Rogan watching the video. “What do you think those guys are on? Do you think they are taking amphetamines? Adderall?” Rogan asks Schulz who claims to be a Formula One fan. “They have to be! Wouldn’t you?” asked the comedian while Rogan affirms he surely would be on drugs if he was driving a car that fast.

How rounds are scored in mixed martial arts will always be a controversial debate. Several veterans of the sport have dissed the scoring system and also have proposed new changes but the scoring still remains to be the same. Even the UFC commentator has expressed that he is not a huge fan of the 10-point scoring system.

Back in 2016, a fan had a very interesting reply to one of Rogan’s tweets that condemned the scoring system. The fan referenced a fight between Robbie Lawler and Carlos Condit where the fourth round was scored a 10-9 despite Condit getting the better of Lawler by a huge margin on the stats sheet.

“That’s where scoring gets weird with a 10-point system. It’s so hard to quantify,” wrote Rogan referencing that fight. Rogan has never shied away from letting people know what he believes should be changed in the sport and especially in the UFC.
