Brock Lesnar chokes Joe Rogan during an interview
Brock Lesnar has the distinction of being the only person in the history of mixed martial arts who has won titles in both the UFC and the WWE. After deciding to switch to MMA from wrestling, Lesnar had an interview with UFC commentator Rogan at a fight event.
Rogan’s pronunciation of Lesnar’s name during the interview was incorrect, mistakenly identifying him as another MMA fighter, Brock Larson. In response, the then-46-year-old wrestler attempted to strangle Rogan during the interview. The exchange was a joke and was carried out in a lighthearted manner, so Rogan was not hurt. During his time in the sport of MMA, Lesnar became one of the most popular fighters in the UFC.
Lesnar only had one professional fight before he joined the UFC in 2008. Lensar made his debut in UFC 81, faced Frank Mir, and lost by submission in the first round. However, Lensar later made a comeback in his MMA career and went on to prove himself in the UFC.
