The UFC is rife with drama and intriguing takes. Joe Rogan is one of the most influential personalities in the MMA sphere. The UFC commentator recently slammed Sean Strickland for his vicious sparring session against streamer Sneako. Strickland battered the influencer, forcing several towel throws during the sparring session.

Rogan took aim at the controversial fighter on his podcast. He questioned why Sneako agreed to spar with ‘Tarzan.’ Rogan blamed both men but reserved harsh words for Strickland. This is what he said:

Sean Strickland, he’s got this f*cking man code and he believes in it… You’re essentially agreeing to let him beat the f*ck out of you. You don’t really have a chance, you have no chance.

Rogan claimed Sean Strickland has a “man code” requiring him to destroy sparring partners. In Rogan’s view, signing up to spar with Strickland means agreeing to get beaten up. The commentator also scolded Sneako for the dangerous decision. Other personalities like Jake Paul also condemned Strickland’s ruthless attack on the extremely less skilled Sneako.

Strickland held back initially, carrying Sneako for a few minutes. But in the final 30 seconds, the UFC fighter unleashed a barrage of punches. He gave the streamer a brutal beatdown, forcing multiple towel throws. Even UFC pioneer Forrest Griffin couldn’t stop Strickland’s onslaught. He finally had to drag ‘Tarzan’ off the bloodied Sneako. The video shows Strickland continuing to punch the helpless influencer after the spar clearly ended. Despite being badly bloodied, Sneako did stay on his feet.

The former UFC middleweight champion has a history of hard sparring and crazy rants. But targeting an inexperienced livestreamer crossed a line for some. Strickland showed no restraint or sportsmanship against the overmatched Sneako. The savage sparring session provided more examples of Strickland’s concerning behavior. His beatdown of Sneako gave critics like Jake Paul more ammo against the UFC star’s methods. Even Joe Rogan spoke about this incident, deeming the beatdown as ‘unnecessary.’
