Stand-up comedian Joey Diaz is a close friend of Joe Rogan. He appears on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast sporadically. On one occasion, they touched upon many topics, such as charity scammers, home intruders, and controversial kickboxer Andrew Tate. The UFC commentator rarely speaks about Tate. This was one of the few times Rogan spoke about the controversial kickboxer.

Tate never fails to go viral due to his cocky and abrasive takes on others. His online scuffles and generic disdain for Kick streamers have dominated the news circle in recent times. However, Rogan and Diaz discussed the webcam business that Tate started to make his first million dollars.

The way Andrew Tate was doing it - he would have the girls [working for him] sit in front of the keyboard typing, with their t*ts out.. Then him and his friends would be over on the side. They would be typing all the sh*t, cause they knew what the guy [on the other end] wanted to hear...so they would type all the things for the guy and the guys would just donate and they were making millions.

Controversial or not, Tate has amassed a staggering net worth. Joe Rogan lauded his business acumen in understanding the current market and utilizing Third-party hosted content on sites. Over the years, the webcam business increased the demand for infotainment and dating sites like OnlyFans. Former UFC star Paige Vanzant has made more money on OnlyFans than her UFC paychecks.

Tate made his first million by identifying the demand in this market area. He did something that many people overlooked. Hence, Rogan and his guest Diaz remain bewildered at the appeal of using potent female models to drive up attention. These days, Tate has moved on from webcam businesses to other business ventures.

Joe Rogan talks about Andrew Tate’s relevancy amongst netizens

Andrew Tate remains the helmsman of the so-called ‘manosphere.’ His take on remaining an alpha male and providing for women often goes viral. While he does catch some flak for voicing women as the secondary notion, many modern fans resonate with those thoughts.

Tate’s comments about the role of men and women have not sat well in mainstream circles. Nevertheless, he has become a cult hero to the silent majority. Rogan felt Tate followed a ‘gimmick’ to sound as outrageous as possible to become a topic of discussion.

You’ve got to think of what a person like that is trying to do, when they’re first getting attention...You’re trying to be as outrageous as possible...to get as many people to think about what you’re saying, talk about what you’re saying, and engage with it...Yeah, and the best way to do that is to be like a character – an over-the-top, completely arrogant guy who’s shirtless, with sunglasses on, smoking a cigar, talking about h*es.

One could say Tate has immense knowledge about how to remain relevant in pop-culture topics. Fans love the over-the-top comments of ‘Top G.’ Not only does he have a huge fan following, but more people come out on social media to defend Tate’s controversial views.

Even UFC bantamweight champion Sean O’Malley defends Tate regularly on his YouTube channel. If a champion like O’Malley bought into Tate’s ideology, can anyone blame the common man for doing the same? Hence, Rogan aptly pointed out how Tate amassed his followers with over-the-top comments.
