The current case between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard revolves around an alleged defamatory statement written by Amber against Johnny in an op-ed for The Washington Post. Amber, in the post, labelled herself as a “public figure representing domestic abuse.” Johnny Depp sued Amber Heard for her alleged defamatory remarks, even though the post didn’t specifically contain Johnny Depp’s name.
Joe Rogan has reacted to the ongoing trail, and he was shocked about the recordings that were presented in the court. According to Joe, it is absurd that they were recording every conversation that they were having. Joe said: “Why were you both recording each other? How crazy is that you’re both recording? This is madness all around. Yeah, that’s spy versus spy shit, but they’re both actors, so they’re both aware that they’re recording.“

UFC commentator and podcast host, Joe Rogan, discussed the popular Johnny Depp and Amber Heard defamation case and he appreciated Johnny’s lawyer Camille Vasquez for showing amazing skills in the court.
Joe, in his episode, said: “I should also apologize to the lawyer Camille. Her name is Camille. I referred to her as Claire before… She’s amazing. That lady is incredible. I apologize to her for f*****g up her name. That woman’s a beast. When she’s questioning her [Heard] over whether she gave her money away, it’s amazing.”
The case has been very popular throughout the world and is now in its concluding phase. Both parties have given their statement and the judgement will be decided by a jury of seven members in a few days. Johnny Depp has sued Amber Heard for $50 million, claiming that her defamatory remarks were false, as she was not a victim of domestic abuse.
Amber Heard has counter-sued Johnny for $100 million, arguing that Depp smeared her by calling her a liar. As both parties have given their testimonies, the world awaits for a judgement that would be a deciding point for both of the actors’ lives.
