Goggins greeted Jones and hyped the fighter for the fight with his empowering words. After that, he revealed how he got to know Jones personally. Goggins also mentioned why he likes Jones as a fighter and what he thinks about Jones’s fighting abilities.
He said: “Jones and me, we been connecting back and forth for years and you know, the guy’s now, three years out of the ring. He wanted to find a little bit more. The thing about Jon, he’s able to slow things down and kinda clear space out in his mind and find that right moment.“
Goggins then went on to talk about MMA in general and how it is so different from other sports. According to the popular motivational speaker, it’s a ‘Gladiator’ sport and it’s the true test of a human’s instincts towards danger.
Joe Rogan and David Goggins talk about Jon Jones’s unmatched UFC career

Rogan is a huge fan of David Goggins and his content. During one of his podcast episodes, ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’, Rogan and Goggins talked about the UFC Greatest of all time and Rogan mentioned a few of his best picks.
As expected Jones was on Rogan’s list and Goggins agreed to that. Rogan revealed that Jones is one of the most talented fighters in UFC history and doesn’t even train in a few of his fights and still dominates.
He said: “Jon Jones really never lost. He’s a nasty mother****. You wanna talk about a guy who just did it by talent and will? Jon Jones beat Alexander Gustafsson without training.”
Goggins is mostly expected to be there at the UFC 285 while Jones fights for the Heavyweight title against Cyril Gane. It will be interesting to see if his motivation adds anything to Jones’s desire to win the fight.
