Jordan Peterson is a celebrity psychologist who has been making the rounds in right-wing media. He is known to be a good friend of the UFC commentator and popular podcast host Joe Rogan. The show ‘Joe Rogan Experience’ has a lot of episodes that feature Peterson. The two can be witnessed talking about psychology and other conservative talking points.
Recently, Joe Rogan was targeted by a far-left activist group. In a recent episode, Rogan allegedly spread climate misinformation. The UFC commentator was said to be reporting on a climate-related theory that was eventually false. This prompted left-leaning publication ‘Media Matters’ to ensure Spotify of a strict misinformation policy on their site. As the climate theories had been amplified on TikTok, left-wing media allegedly wants Joe Rogan to be de-platformed.
Jordan Peterson, who is a good friend of Rogan, took to Twitter to defend him. He wrote, “Good luck intimidating Joe Rogan.” The celebrity psychologist can often be witnessed defending Rogan during his controversies. This time, part of the interest for Peterson is a left-wing publication’s attacks. The psychologist has vocally disavowed a lot of left-leaning talking points.
Despite the frenzy, Joe Rogan is yet to respond to these claims. The UFC commentator is often criticized for misinformation regarding certain topics. One of many huge controversies involved Covid-19 misinformation that has become a part of Rogan’s legacy.

In early 2022, Joe Rogan became a subject of criticism. The UFC commentator was subjected to critics calling him racist due to an old viral clip. The remarks made by Rogan were brought to light, and netizens lost their minds. During the tirade, Spotify was rumored to cancel Rogan out of their partnership program. Despite the criticisms, celebrity psychologist Jordan Peterson stuck up for the UFC commentator.
“Spotify won’t remove Rogan. They’d be out of their minds,” said Peterson. He then continued, “He [Joe Rogan] came out on Instagram to talk about all this a few days ago and I thought ‘You nailed it Joe.’ just can’t see any scenario short of his assassination that ends up in Rogan not having 20 million viewers. As long as he’s careful, I don’t think he can be canceled. Even if Spotify dumps him, it’s like, who’s dumping who here?“
A plethora of conservative spokesmen touched on Joe Rogan’s cancellation. The bunch included Jordan Peterson, who viciously went after the advocates who tried to cancel the UFC commentator. The podcast host has often been subjected to criticism involving misinformation.
