Jorge Masvidal competed in the promotion for nearly a decade. As such, his retirement in 2023 was a sad ending to a commendable career. However, his return from retirement had fans excited. But still, it was unclear whether he would compete in the UFC or fight elsewhere like pursuing boxing.
Jorge Masvidal last fought Gilbert Burns in April 2023. As such, he announced his retirement in the octagon after losing the bout.
