Aldo has a legacy in the UFC and he is the former UFC flyweight champion. Aldo has a professional MMA record of 31 wins and 7 losses. Aldo is ranked #3 in the featherweight division while Dvalishvili ranks #6. the fight is a perfect matchup in the bantamweight division and the winner of the fight could earn a title shot against bantamweight champion, Aljamain Sterling.

“The hardest fight but”- Aljamain Sterling talks about a fight against Jose Aldo
Jose Aldo was the first featherweight champion in the history of the UFC and, with a legacy so strong, it is sure that he is among the best MMA fighters of all time. Aldo moved to bantamweight for his another run for the title, but it seems he is still a few fights away from getting a title shot.
Aldo has called out Aljamain Sterling after his victory against Petr Yan in a rematch at UFC 273, but the UFC seems to favour the “money fight” instead of a “legacy fight”. Aljamain Sterling, in his podcast with Joe Rogan, talked about fighter either Jose Aldo or TJ Dillashaw. Aljamain revealed that while Jose might be the hardest fight, TJ is the one who sells events.
Aljamain said: “I think the UFC knows who’s the “money fight” and who moves the needle. I don’t know if it’s Aldo who moves the needle. I know T.J. definitely moves the needle — you can ask USADA. Then Cejudo, so there are options.”
While no fight has been confirmed yet, it would be exciting to see how the bantamweight division develop through these fights in the future and whatever the results, it is guaranteed that the fans would be entertained throughout the events.
