Justin Gaethje accuses Conor McGregor of steroid use as he declines an “unfair” fight against the Irishman, Rafael Fiziev offers his services
Gaethje accused McGregor of using Performance-enhancers
Justin Gaethje is all set to return to action after having his nose rebuilt and the rest he deserves. To this regard Conor McGregor was touted as a possible opponent for him, however, the Highlight wasn’t too keen on accepting the fight as he wanted a “fair competition”
Unlike most fighters, Gaetjhe holds the superpower to reject a McGregor pay day, an opportunity Champions grab at sight. However, it’s not because he feels McGregor is better than him or something of the sort but rather because Gaethje feels McGregor is very obviously using performance enhancers.
“Sounds to me like he’s off taking steroids right now, he’s not been drug tested by USADA in quite some time, “ said Gaethje talking to MMA Fighting as he revealed that he was ready to face Conor when he returned in early 2020 against Cowboy Cerrone.
“If he’s on steroids, then give me steroids and let’s go”, said Gaethje. However, the Arizona native vowed that he would never take performance enhancers as his health is what is chief to him saying, “I have never taken performance-enhancing drugs and I do not want to fight people who take performance-enhancing drugs. “
“If I break my leg, I’m not taking steroids to heal my legs”, said Gaethje as he responded to rumors that McGregor could be on steroids only to rehabilitate his leg and not actual performance enhancers. ” He had the chance, to fight me, he didn’t fight me he picked cowboy, so yeah, I mean whatever, who cares, “ said Gaethje as he concluded he’s not very optimistic of McGregor accepting the challenge.
Rafael Fiziev responds to Justin Gaethje’s demand for “Fair Competition”
Someone who did respond to Gaethje’s call for a “fair competition” was none other than rising lightweight prospect Rafael Fiziev. Currently ranked number 7 at lightweight, Fiziev took a break from the usual Hasbulla call-out after his last fight and instead challenged Gaethje to a fight.
Fiziev who had a similar nose surgery as Gatehje used that as a basis for their rivalry saying, “We need to know. We need to find out who is the nose job [king], who is better now. But he still says nothing.” Gaethje has yet to respond to his callouts. Now after Gaethje’s most recent interview, Fiziev has come out looking to make the fight happen again.

He posted to twitter saying, “USADA tested me 6 times this year, I’m available for fair competition bro [Justin Gaethje] unless you worried my skills will make it unfair. “ A fair but fiery call out, if this doesn’t get Gaethje’s attention, we do not know what will.
Fiziev isn’t alone when it comes to young lightweight who has called out the veteran with Mateusz Gamrot also expressing an interest in facing Gaethje after his win over Arman Tsarukyan.
