Justin Gaethje is found blatantly lying about associating himself/supporting Chechen warlord and dictator Ramzan Kadyrov amidst a Twitter feud with Barstool Sports founder, Dave Portnoy.

UFC 282 was a disappointing pay-per-view for many but the Barstool Sports founder had an amazing time supporting his fighter, Paddy Pimblett. The Liverpool fighter won the fight against Jared Gordon via a controversial decision. The fighter was heavily criticized for celebrating his win by several UFC peers and Justin Gaethje was one of them. The lightweight fighter targeted Pimblett’s sponsor, Portnoy, and got into a heated Twitter argument.

Portnoy and Gaethje’s argument lead to the Barstool Sports founder calling out the fighter for supporting Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov who is a warlord. The fighter after being accused of Dave Portnoy for supporting Kadyrov wrote back, “That’s an outright lie and slander,” and in a follow-up tweet he wrote, “Never met the guy. Go F**k yourself.”

The former lightweight interim champion quickly got called out on his tweet by fans as they posted pictures of the fighter hanging out with Ramzan Kadyrov’s son along with Ali Abdelaziz’s fighters, Kamaru Usman, and Henry Cejudo. The three UFC fighters were seen testing out guns in a ranch with Kadyrov’s son. The pictures went viral as the Chechen leader’s son posted them on his social media account.

It was surprising that the fighter would deny hanging out with the Kadyrov family very well knowing that the pictures were making rounds on the internet. Fans posted pictures of the fighter testing out guns, Gaethje replied, “That was fun.” This reply added more fuel to the outrage from the fans.
