Kamaru Usman is undoubtedly one of the biggest UFC superstars in recent years. The Nigerian-born got the UFC ticket back in 2015 and has remained undefeated till now. Usman rose in the rankings pretty quickly and was unstoppable in all of his octagon appearances. In 2019, Usman got the opportunity to fight for the UFC welterweight belt against Tyron Woodley.
Usman won the fight via unanimous decision and then started his reign as the new champion. Since then, Usman has never backed out of any title defences and has faced every challenger. The 35-year-old has successfully defended his title five times against the best of the division.
Usman has given the fight fans some of the most entertaining rivalries and title fights. Apart from entertaining fans inside the octagon, Kamaru has also been a great entertainer outside the octagon as well. Especially with his charismatic entrances. It was the second time, the pair were facing each other and the build-up to the fight was even bigger. Usman lived up to the build-up as he walked out to an energetic song named ‘Yaba Buluku’ by Burma Boy and Dj Tarico. In the fight, Usman shut down all the haters and beat Covington again.
‘Alarm clock’ by Burnaboy ft. Kitale
UFC 261: Kamaru Usman vs Jorge Masvidal
After losing to Usman once, Masvidal was confident to take his revenge this time. But, it was a nightmare for Masvidal as Kamaru outboxed Jorge and dropped him in the second round with a brutal punch. For this fight, Usman used ‘Alarm clock’ by “Burnaboy ft. Kitale as his walkout song.

‘No Games’ by Rick Ross ft. Future
UFC 258 : Kamaru Usman vs Gilbert Burns
It was Usman’s third title defence and Burns was known for his brute force. However, Usman got a TKO win over the Brazilian. Usman being a hip-hop fan, used ‘No Games’ by Rick Ross ft. Future for his walkout song in this fight.
“Another Story” by Burna Boy and “Anybody” by Burna Boy
UFC 245: Kamaru Usman vs Colby Covington
The first time Covington and Usman fought eachother was at UFC 245. Later, the fight turned out to be one of the most entertaining welterweight title defences. Usman started with a banger walkout song, “Another Story” by Burna Boy. Kamaru dominated Covington throughout the fight and earned a decision victory for him.
“Shuffering & Shmiling” by Fela Kuti
UFC 235: Kamaru Usman vs Tyron Woodley
Usman’s first shot at the title was at UFC 235 against Tyron Woodley and it was huge for the fighter. He chose the song “Shuffering & Shmiling” by Fela Kuti in one of the most important fights of his career as his walkout song. Later that night, Usman defeated Woodley via a unanimous decision.
