BLACKMAN HANGS HIS CAPE: Kevin Holland Arrested over Parking Ticket Violations, vows never to do good again
The Texas fighter was recently arrested in his state for traffic violations
It seems like Kevin Holland is done with the vigilante life. Not because some thief cut him open or did some damage, not at all. Instead it was the very people Holland was helping out the most, that eventually turned against him, cops. Yes, Kevin Holland was taken into custody after all he did was help his community.
Holland, 29, gained a reputation among MMA fans and the greater Texas area as a vigilante wandering the streets at night when he initially stopped a car thief from running away when he was caught. This later transpired to two more citizen arrests as he stopped a perfume thief a day before his fight with Tim Means and later on a second carjacker
Holland’s bravest escapade came when he leaped forwards and disarmed a man who had pulled out a gun at the Sushi store he was at. While these selfless acts have gained him the adoration of the public, the same cannot be said about law enforcement

Police have a reputation of not being very happy when someone else does their job better than them. This seems to be the case with Holland too. In the past he has said that the Police have never given him props or even acknowledged his deeds and have instead asked him to stay out of their business.
Maybe out of resentment or pure ignorance the police in the Ft. Worth Area decided to stop Kevin Holland who was on his way to the airport. Describing what happened next, Holland said, “I got pulled over one night on my way to the airport, right, and they were like, ‘we gotta book you., I’m like, ‘book me for what?’ They’re like ‘for tickets,’ I’m like ‘tickets? How much are the tickets? I got the money right now, I’ll pay you.'”

Unfortunately, the cops didn’t want immediate payment and instead dragged Holland to the station where he was kept for about 3 to 4 hours before he was allowed to pay his fines and be on his way. “It’s just when you see something bad going on, the right thing to do is the right thing to do”, said Holland when asked about how he feels about going unrecognized by the police.
This incident however has made him reconsider his passion for crime fighting with intention of backing away from the game entirely. Holland promises to not do any good in the Ft Worth area. “I ain’t doing nothing to Saginaw no more, man. I’ll help everybody else anywhere else. If you in Saginaw, I ain’t helping you.”, said the star.
Holland who has a fight coming up this week against Daniel Rodriguez confirmed that the fight was not in jeopardy and that he would show up for UFC 279.
