UFC fighter Kevin Holland remains one of the most active fighters on the roster. From his debut against Thiago Santos in 2018, he has shown his ability to fight anyone on short notice. Holland found immense success in 2020 in the Middleweight division. However, it looks like he has decided where he wants to fight in the future.

On his Instagram, Kevin Holland said, “I make 170 so mother****** easy, I promise you I can make 155. But at the end of the day, the only thing I want to do is fight at 185 because the n***** don’t want to cut no weight. I want to eat food, smack big booties and say, ‘Hey Judy!'” Fighting and defeating bigger fighters can be admirable, but it did not end well for him the last time.

Despite Holland stating that he wanted to fight in the Middleweight division, he did not find success against the top fighters in the division. He decisively lost to Derek Brunson and Marvin Vettori before returning to fight in the Welterweight division. He found success in the Welterweight division until fighting Khamzat Chimaev and Stephen ‘Wonderboy’ Thompson. However, he returned to the winning column after defeating Santiago Ponzinibbio.

Chimaev has since left the division, and he will likely lose to him if they fight again in the Middleweight division. His fights with Chimaev, Vettori and Brunson showed he could not wrestle with these bigger opponents. Hence, moving back to the Middleweight division might not end well for him like last time.
