Kevin Holland enters yet another bout on short notice and promises fans huge entertainment. The women’s flyweight title fight between Alexa Grasso and Valentina Shevchenko will be the main event of the special “Noche UFC” event that Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) will host inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, on September 16, 2023, in honor of Mexican Independence Day.
Holland has now stated that he will compete on the card, but against an as-yet-unnamed opponent. Additionally, “Big Mouth” announced it in a unique manner by thanking Dana White for “buying him a taco truck.” Holland developed a poor Hispanic accent and maintained it for the entire video while hanging out of a food truck’s side door.
He said, “Woohoo! Ola! ‘Big Mouth’ here. Me want to thank Dana ‘Blanco’ White and the UFC for my taco truck. I got me a taqueria and I’m out here in Dallas, Texas having a good ol’ time. So ultimately I’d like to thank Prediction Strike as well because now that I’m up 20% I think my tacos will go up 40%. Holla at your boy and see you September 16th!”
Holland came out of retirement to fight Stephen Thompson at the UFC on ESPN 42 but failed to win the fight. However, currently, the fighter is on a two-fight win streak, beating Santiago Ponzinibbio and Michael Chiesa in a row. It will be interesting to see if Holland is able to continue his winning streak.

One of the UFC competitors who is known for being the most active is Kevin Holland. The exception in the modern era is Trailblazer,” who fights four or five times every year.
After defeating Michael Chiesa via submission at UFC 291, the fighter is already ready to get into the octagon again. Just three weeks prior to UFC 291, when Sean Brady was forced to withdraw from his scheduled match with Jack Della Maddalena at UFC 290, Kevin Holland volunteered to fill in as a last-minute replacement. But the UFC had other plans. Instead, a week later, Della Maddalena faced off against newcomer Bassil Hafez and prevailed via split decision.
However, it now appears like Holland may fulfill his desire to face the No. 14-ranked welterweight in the coming weeks. It is reported that the UFC is planning to make the fight between Holland and Della Maddalena. A striking showdown between both welterweights is something that the fans would love to see.
