Kevin Holland is not at all interested to make peace with his recent rival, Khamzat Chimaev. “Borz” might be over their rivalry after UFC 279, but the “Trailblazer” sure isn’t!

Kevin Holland and Khamzat Chimaev took on each other in a crazy fight n the last pay-per-view event. “Big mouth” was brave enough to keep the card alive after Chimaev’s disastrous weigh-in which put the entire card at risk. Holland, who decided to step in as a short-notice opponent for the Chechen faced a terrible loss.

Though Chimaev and Holland were not saying nice things things to each other, the Chechen fighter offered to train with Holland. in the recent episode of MMA Hour, talking to Ariel Helwani, Holland gave a response to superstar’s offer. “It’s more likely for the universe to change and we all look like cartoon characters. I’m not training with that guy,” said Holland on The MMA Hour.

Holland is stubborn on not training with fighters from rival camps. Holland might drop by to pay a visit but never take that as a “yes” from the Trailblazer to train with you. “It’s me and my team against the world. I’m not training with no other squads,” said Holland. “There’s no thank you even involved. Just two middle fingers,” ended the fighter.

Holland is only 29-years-old but he couldn’t handle the loss against Chimaev at UFC 279. Despite having taken the fight on short notice, the former middleweight was absolutely devastated by how he lost the fight against the Chechen. “Trailblazer” lasted only 2 minutes of the first round before he got choked out by Chimaev.

This led to Holland announcing retirement from fighting and shocking the entire MMA world. However, Kevin being Kevin trolled the entire world by coming out of retirement very shortly to announce a fight against UFC welterweight veteran.

Holland decided to step down to the 170-pound division after a bad run of fights in the middleweight division. Holland is 2-1 since his move to the welterweight division and will be fighting Stephen Thompson in a main event fight in December.
