The airport in Makhachkala, in the Republic of Dagestan, was successfully taken over by the local police. This happened during the course of an overnight operation. This came to light after a shocking revelation released by the Russian Ministry of the Interior on Monday morning. The operation became a necessity due to the result of concerning intelligence.

The intelligence suggested a large number of people associated with extremist ideologies had planned to carry out a scheme to damage passengers on a plane that arrived from Israel. Concerns concerning regional security and the current attempts to fend off any threats became a necessity by this revelation. At the airport in southern Russia, the fifteen Israelis on board were segregated for safety measures. The security team and the local police guarded them until they received permission to exit the building. At their request, some were transported by air to Moscow, and some went on to other locations in Dagestan.

Khabib Nurmagomedov shares death toll of Palestine citizens

Khabib Nurmagomedov recently used the horrific death toll of Palestinians as a point of protest against the violence and escalation in Gaza. Israeli soldiers have been continuously bombarding Gaza with the declared goal of destroying Hamas in retaliation for the war. But given the ‘obvious breach of international humanitarian law‘ in Gaza, as reported by the UN, the bombardments have drawn strong criticism from activists and protesters worldwide.

In his Instagram stories, Khabib Nurmagomedov shared a piece from Eternah that provided a thorough analysis of the number of Palestinian deaths. In the past two weeks, at least 8005 innocent citizens have been slaughtered; 2,602 of them were women and 3,324 of them were children. This makes up 74% of the total number of fatalities.
