His MMA prowess garnered him friendship with fellow recognizable athletes from other sports. Nurmagomedov is a longtime friend of Cristiano Ronaldo and has a friendship with the original Ronaldo, the Brazilian phenomenon.

Now, Nurmagomedov shocked the fans with a recent Instagram post. The Instagram post featured Nurmagomedov and his team with Tennis GOAT Novak Djokovic and his team. Djokovic is the most accomplished male singles player in Grand Slam history. He also holds several records, which many say will remain untouched.

Nurmagomedov acknowledged Djokovic as the GOAT in his post caption. The two met at the NAS Sports Complex in UAE. In the pictures, Usman Nurmagomedov, Umar Nurmagomedov, and Abubakar Nurmagomedov, among others, were present. Team Khabib trains at NAS Sports Complex. One notable absentee from the picture was UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev.

The Nurmagomedov family has many fighters in MMA, but none is more famous than Khabib Nurmagomedov. His cousins Umar, Usman, and Abubakar Nurmagomedov are also MMA fighters, with Usman being the Bellator lightweight champion. Umar and Abubakar compete in the bantamweight and welterweight divisions of the UFC.

Javier Mendez, the head coach of the fighters at AKA, recently uploaded a Chin Up Challenge video on his YouTube. The video was from the NAS Sports Complex in Abu Dhabi, where Team Khabib got the full support of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the crown prince of Dubai.

In the video, Khabib Nurmagomedov hilariously stops his cousin Abubakar from doing more reps. When Mendez asked why he did it, this is what “The Eagle” replied.

Because he did 22. Oh, okay. My maximum is 13-15. 13-15 is better here. Usman is better here. I don't know about Abubakar.

Khabib cheated because he hilariously did not want Abubakar to do more than him. However, he acknowledged that Usman was better than him at Chin Ups. Usman had earlier done close to 50 Chin Ups at the beginning of the video.
