Dana gifted some brand new sneakers for his former champion
Khabib Nurmagomedov and Dana White have developed a relationship where despite being competitors they still meet eye to eye on most subjects. White isn’t one to shy away from blessing his friends with the most luxurious of gifts and it doesn’t matter if you’re a multimillionaire athlete who can have anything at a whim.
Recently Nurmagomedov has been in San Jose, as he helps prepare his teammates for their upcoming fights at AKA. His cousin, Umar will be competing at the Apex this weekend so coach Khabib does have his hands full. Hence it may have been thoughtful of Dana White to send him a gift that Khabib sure would appreciate.

Dana has said in the past that he has a problem with buying sneakers, in that he can’t stop. At a show where he went shopping for sneakers, he revealed he buys 4-5 of them each month. It may not be much for Dana but for common folk like you or me $750 a month might really make a dent in our finances.
White thought of gifting his long-time fighter and newfound friend a token of gratitude while he oversees multiple camps. He sent Khabib a pair of sneakers that the former lightweight seems to have really appreciated. The sneakers in question are the limited edition Travis Scott Air Jordan 1 Low along with Hiroshi Fujiwara’s Fragment Design.
While it’s difficult to find these on the market it mustn’t have been a hassle for White himself. Khabib posted a video on his Instagram thanking the boss man for what he called “an amazing gift”
In the past Dana has been known to give even more outrageous gifts like the time he along with the Fertitta brothers gifted Anderson Silva a brand new Bentley. Although White said it was a way to show his appreciation, many knew it was a sort of bribe to make Silva reconsider retirement
