Khamzat Chimaev is willing to fight Brock Lesnar, but he has an interesting price tag
Chimaev has asked to face Lesnar multiple times
Khamzat Chimaev and Brock Lesnar are separated by at least two weight classes when it comes to combat sports. However this wont stop the wolf from stepping into the octagon against The Beast Incarnate, though he does have a price.
Chimaev is the latest breath of fresh air in the UFC who thanks to his own invincible aura finds it difficult to get booked for fights and doesn’t find any issues with calling out anyone on his mind.
Currently holding a 11-0 professional record, the young chechen has already been heralded to be Khabib like in his abilities inside the octagon and Conor like in his self belief. Undoubtedly great things await the Chechen not too far away in the future.
Khamzat Chimaev names his price to go up against Brock Lesnar
Lesnar on the other hand is one of the most recognised faces around the globe thanks to his years of exposure in the WWE and brief but remarkable stint in MMA. He managed to mangle every fighter put up against him on his road to capturing heavyweight gold in the UFC.
However this monstrous run by Lesnar doesn’t intimidate Chimaev in the slightest as he believes he can go through Brock, the same way he has with all his other opponents. Similar to Lesnar, Chimaev has beaten all but one of his opponents at will, ragdolling them to the point they look like amateurs.
During a recent interview with the MacLife, Chimaev was asked what his plans would be if he were to defeat Nate at UFC 279. Chimaev was asked if he would consider making a move to middleweight or simply stay active at Welterweight. Khamzat had a different answer, in that he didn’t mind fighting anyone as he waits until he received his title shot.
He said, “Actually I told my manager, let me fight at 84(Middleweight) as well but he said let’s wait and focus on 170, take the belt and then go up, we will see. I’m ready for everyone, when I said I can fight with Brock Lesnar, it’s real. ” The chechen then named his price to step into the octagon with Lesnar.
“If they give me 1 Million Dollars, no problem I can fight with him, “ said the Chechen. Remarkably, this is perhaps a very low figure to be paid for going up against Lesnar. Brock himself was paid upwards of 3 Million Dollars for his appearance at UFC 200.
Lesnar had previously made his feelings clear about facing fighters from the lower weight classes with his comment, “I take shits bigger than Conor McGregor. “ How do you think Borz fares against Lesnar in the fantasy fight?
