Khamzat Chimaev is undoubtedly one of the biggest draws on the UFC roster. However, the fan’s perceptions of the fighter are slowly changing. He was recently seen on social media, back in training after a reported hand injury which surprisingly received upsetting reactions from the MMA community.

Chimaev recently uploaded a video on his Instagram, throwing combos, and training with Majlimov Khusan. Khamzat Chimaev fought against Kamaru Usman at UFC 294, where he won the majority decision. The rising contender, Chimaev went toe-to-toe with a veteran Usman coming off the couch which could have potentially brought down the star’s ‘stocks’ in the eyes of MMA fans.

Chimaev, who failed to come off with a dominant win as expected by most critics and fans, revealed that Chimaev reportedly suffered from a torn ligament and had to undergo surgery. The fans expect Chimaev to steam roll his opponents like his early UFC days.
