Khusein Askhabov was unbeaten in 23 outings before making his UFC debut. He fights at featherweight, where Alexander Volkanovski reigns supreme. He made his UFC debut against Jamall Emmers on the undercard of the fight night headlined by Erin Blanchfield and Jessica Andrade. Moreover, Ashkabov lost all three rounds on all the scorecards. Khusein was looking to bounce back from his victory, but with the legal proceedings ongoing, his UFC career might be over.

Askhabov was scheduled to fight Daniel Pineda on the undercard of Bobby Green vs. Grant Dawson on October 7. Pineda is coming off a loss to Alex Caceres. Jose Caceres, Alex’s brother, is the first person who defeated Kamaru Usman before he went on a long unbeaten run. The winning streak was eventually broken by Leon Edwards.
