Jake Paul and Sean Strickland‘s ongoing feud unlocks a new level. For his 10th pro boxing outing, Paul faces journeyman, Ryan Bourland in Puerto Rico this weekend. Paul last went up against the seasoned boxer, Andre August. Consequently winning via a devastating uppercut KO. Now he goes up with former Golden Gloves champ for an 8-round cruiserweight bout, streaming on DAZN. Amidst all these, ‘The Problem Child‘ has also been eager to duke it out with the former UFC middleweight champ.

Strickland happens to be one of the few staple athletes incorporating boxing in his style. He extensively uses the “Philly Shell” – a non-standard defensive style built on the crouch-and-roll technique. In the latest episode of ‘BS with Jake Paul‘ podcast, Paul ripped him for ducking him, on his supposed  ‘wannabe alpha male’ energy. Strickland refused the official contest due to contractual obligations, incurring the wrath of Paul, who released snapshots during the segment, that hint otherwise. It read:

I mute my Twitter just seen this... What about a real fight? I don't know if I can get the UFC on board but with their involvement I think we can make it happen...Conor McGregor did it with Floyd Mayweather...I'm gonna to talk to Hunter about a fight. Man that is a big f**king paycheck let me see what I can do..

These stem from Rumble streamer Sneako, sparring with the 185lber recently. Who mercilessly obliterated Sneako with a barrage of full-powered left strikes. The incident saw the battered and bloodied Sneako later banned from the UFC PI. Witnessing such a beatdown, Paul extended a sparring offer, with a substantial purse of $1 million, which in itself should be possible as an unsanctioned sparring session.

Proceeding to slam Jake Paul’s ‘fake’ PPV buyouts, Strickland nudged that UFC CBO and head litigator, Hunter Campbell blocked the offer, citing legal ramifications. With Sneako hinting at possible CTE due to the beatdown, those claims might just hold. However, the IG texts show that while Paul frankly told him he didn’t believe the UFC would subside, Strickland persisted anyway.

Jake Paul refutes UFC contract claims about sparring stipulations

Jake Paul has met quite a few MMA personalities in his life. The influencer-turned-boxer most-oft faces criticism for crossover stints with older UFC stars like Anderson Silva, Tyron Woodley, and Ben Askren. All in all, he knows the rules around the bend for such crossover aspirations.

Once in a while, Paul surprises his fans as well. With Paul’s MVP Promotions defying tradition and choosing a seasoned boxer for his 9th outing, the boxer defied his norms. And subsequently went on to dominantly win against Andre August.

Paul was expectant to surprise his fans yet again. Seeing the beatdown on Sneako, he wanted to return the favor in kind, offering Sean Strickland a $1,000,000 fight purse for charity boxing.

Speaking on the ‘BS with Jake Paul‘, here’s what Paul said on Strickalnd’s claim that the UFC blocked such an offer with the alleged PPV-shammer –

Man, the guy seems to be having a quarter-life crisis there...Contractually, in your UFC contract, it says nothing about sparring! He's making up excuses, saying he's going to get sued by people. I feel bad for the guy...I see a very insecure, lost, wannabe, like, alpha male that's hiding behind the tough man complex. He needs a hug.

Even Woodley himself hinted at the same. In the “Real Shhh Right Quick – Ep. 7” segment of his YouTube channel, the former fighter said that just like Sneako, the duo could have easily had an unofficial unsanctioned spar, like fighters always do.

Preceding the time around his ban, Sneako suffered yet another manhandling at the hands of Merab Dvalishvili. Following suit, even controversial Kick streamer N3on recently went viral training with Aljamain Sterling. Currently, Strickland is yet to respond to Paul overtly challenging his claims. Knowing ‘Tarzan’ and his demeanor, one just knows he’ll come out swinging.
