UFC 53 has left everyone appreciating the incredible performance of Marlon Vera as he dominated Rob Font at UFC Vegas 53. The fight took place at the UFC Apex facility in Enterprise, Nevada, Las Vegas. The Main fight card Featured fighters like Marlon Vera, Rob Font, Andrei Arlovski, Joanderson Brito, and many more.
The main fight was between Marlon Vera and Rob Font and both fighters are ranked #8 and #5 respectively in the bantamweight division. The fight ended with Marlon winning the fight by a unanimous decision as judges scored the fight, 48–47, 49–46, 49–46 in the favor of Marlon.
Marlon scored multiple knockdowns but failed to score a knockdown victory. Though both fighters had a lot of competitive exchanges, Vera really battered Font by the end of 25 minutes.
After the victory, Vera was very emotional and said he will be the champion one day. Getting onto Twitter, Marlon thanked everyone who supported him throughout this fight and he said that he is making history. Marlon tweeted: “Thank you for the support, love and energy today was magical. We are making history Ecuador.”

“We may share the octagon one day”- Petr Yan is looking forward to facing Marlon Vera in the near future

With such an outstanding performance Marlon believes that he can be a champion one day. when asked about whom he wanted to fight Marlon called out Jose Aldo for a 5-round rematch which according to him Aldo has denied.
In one such appreciating post, UFC bantamweight fighter Petr Yan has appreciated Marlon Vera and even said that they might share the octagon in the future. Petr Yan in his recent tweet wrote: “Not a bad performance tonight @chitoveraUFC We may share the octagon one day.”
Petr Yan lost his last fight against Aljamain Sterling at UFC 273 and a fight with Marlon Vera can be an amazing fight for him to get back into the octagon. Marlon is currently on a 3 fight win streak and a fight with Petr Yan can be an interesting challenge for him.
