The Ultimate Fighting Championship is planning to make its debut in France as they head to Paris. The one-time middleweight title contender Marvin Vettori is desperate to fight former champion Robert Whittaker in the octagon. Marvin seems to have agreed to fight Whittaker this September in Paris as he reminds Whittaker to not back off from the fight this time.

Both Marvin and Robert were initially scheduled to fight at UFC 275 which takes place at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang, Singapore on June 11, 2022. But the fight is scrapped as Whittaker pulled out last moment owing to an injury. Despite pulling out, Whittaker gave his word that he still will fight “The Italian Dream” if the fight was to be rescheduled.

Marvin is coming off a win against Paulo Costa in 2021 as he bounced back from his title fight defeat. Meanwhile, Robert is looking to get back on the winning charts after his loss to Israel Adesanya in the title fight rematch at UFC 271.
