“At whatever weight,” Max Holloway hasn’t given up on Conor McGregor rematch dreams despite Irishman’s size advantage
Max Holloway, after losing his first fight against UFC star Conor McGregor, is still hoping to have a rematch against Notorious at any weight class.

Conor McGregor has long waited for his Octagon return, but there is one man who is eagerly waiting for his comeback to get his revenge. Max Holloway, one of the high-profile fighters who is known to create excitement and PPVs in the UFC, is waiting for his rematch against him.
After facing three losses in his last four fights, many people thought “The Notorious” would never step into the octagon cage after receiving a career-threatening loss against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 when he broke his leg. Max Holloway, who is also known to have defeated Jose Aldo, has made things clear about his intention. But the former champ still hasn’t given up his hope of taking revenge against Conor McGregor.
Former champ “Blessed” is still looking for the opportunity to take revenge against The Notorious. While talking about MMA fighting, Holloway revealed many things. The second bout against Conor McGregor was also part of the discussion regarding his future plans.
Max Holloway had an encounter with Conor McGregor at UFC Fight Night: Shogun vs. Sonnen in 2013. Max Holloway and Conor McGregor gave each other a tough fight, but Conor secured the decisive victory via unanimous decision. After that, Max Holloway, who was early in his career first focused on becoming the champ but never forgot about what he is missing.

Max Holloway Clears his intentions about Conor McGregor rematch
While talking to MMA fighting Holloway told “There’s a lot of questions, there’s a lot of unknowns because we’re just two different fighters than we was back then. I think it would be a fan-favorite, I think a lot of fans would love that fight, a lot of fans have been asking for that fight… At the end of the day, it’s not even a weight thing, I’d fight him open-weight.”
Right now Conor is awaited for his comeback and since he is on a losing streak. Now it became easy for any fighter to challenge the UFC star as Conor is trying to regain his momentum. As long as Max Holloway is full of confidence, he won’t mind taking his chances against Conor even if he has a weight and size advantage.
Max Holloway is confident after beating Arnold Allen. And since he lost the belt to Alexander Volkanovski, they have fought against each other two more times. The scenario right now is that Max is beating every fighter except one. When it comes to defeating Alexander Volkanovski, he is not able to find his way.
