Max Holloway and Justin Gaethje‘s upcoming showdown has fans all excited. Adding to their excitement, Max Holloway recently made an interesting demand to the UFC on his YouTube channel. Here is what happened:

Max Holloway will be fighting Justin Gaethje next month for UFC 300. Ahead of the fight, Holloway had an interesting idea regarding his apparel during the showdown. Holloway said: 

I think the UFC can still give me my floral shorts. I believe that we’re gonna get a floral shorts soon. We’re seeing people with Purple, Pink. Give me my damn Floral. The people want it.

This is not the first time a fighter has demanded special gear in the UFC. Bryce Mitchell famously received a pair of camouflage shorts from Reebok. Now, Holloway is following in his footsteps and asked for a pair of floral shorts although this is not the first time he made this demand.

Holloway and Gaethje are two of the top contenders on the UFC roster. Holloway is a former UFC featherweight champion while Gaethje is the current BMF title holder. They will fight this April at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada for the BMF title at UFC 300.

‘The Blessed’ wishes to make his mark in the lightweight division this April. Conversely, a win against Holloway will solidify Gaethje’s position as the top contender in the division. Given their aggressive fighting styles, fans are expecting an action-packed showdown between the two contenders.
