Tom Aspinall has yet again solidified his contest for the UFC heavyweight title. The Brit in his last fight beat Marcin Tybura via KO in the very first round. Tom has given various such dominating performances and has impressed a lot of fans and experts.  Fellow countryman, Michael Bisping is a huge fan of Aspinall and in a recent interview with Sky Sports, the ‘Count’ spoke very highly about Aspinal.

He said: “I do 100 percent believe that he will be the champion…Jon Jones is the heavyweight champion,” Bisping continued. “He’s an incredible fighter. He’s incredible. He’s one of the greatest of all time. I don’t think he can hold a candle to Tom. I think Tom will do the same thing to Jon Jones as what he did to Marcin Tybura. I don’t think there’s anyone that can stop Tom Aspinall. He’s that good.”

Last weekend, Tom Aspinall made his comeback from injury and beat Marcin Tybura in a dominant fashion. After the fight, Jon Jones made some indirect comments about Tom. The legend of the sport mentioned that through the years many came to beat him but nobody was successful and in this case, the results will be the same. Aspinall joked about the situation during an interview with MMA Hour.

“I’m just putting out there…Jon Jones…a patronizing guy. I think he kind of patronized me. How dare he patronize me? How dare he? Yeah, I don’t know, whatever,” Aspinall continued. “But that’s the fight, that’s my dream fight. So I’ll do whatever I can to get that.”
