Michael Bisping shared his condolences with the families of the victims of yet another mass shooting

Michael Bisping has yet again invited the wrath of gun nuts in the MMA community after he commented on the Tulsa Mass Shooting that took place on the 1st of June, 2022. Ever since the massacre at the Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, Bisping has been reinvigorated in his passion for advocating common-sense gun laws in the United States.

In the past week, the US has seen more than a dozen instances of mass shootings where a total of over 150 people have been killed. While pro-2nd amendment rights activists argue that the problem lies with the people that commit these atrocities, for anyone on the outside, a country with more weapons than the number of civilians is sure to have major problems stemming from gun violence.

As the country was feeling back from the shock of the Memorial Day Weekend mass shootings, it was hit with another reminder of how urgently it needs to reform it’s laws on gun control. Wednesday afternoon saw a lone gunman enter a medical office building in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and open fire.

While the shooting was limited to a specific section on the second floor, it regardless lead to the death of four people and left a dozen more with injuries. The police have not yet revealed the identity of the shooter but have clarified that it was a premeditated attack and not a random shootout.

Michael Bisping took to Twitter and expressed his grief on yet another mass shooting, sending his condolences to the victim’s families. A fan then asked Bisping to talk about the shootings that take place in cities like Chicago instead of only talking about incidents happening in Red/Republican states.

A furious Bisping then replied saying it wasn’t about blue or red states but the value of human life itself. “I have children here that I don’t wanna see murdered one day” said the fighter making clear his motivations for supporting gun control.

Bisping then tried to calm down the raging debate in a tweet sometime later, “Anyway wasn’t starting a fuc**ng debate. Was simply shocked and saddened to hear of yet another mass shooting” said the former Middleweight Champion from England. Shutting of opinions with zero sense of nuance, Bisping said, “If one can’t see there’s at least a little bit of an issue, regardless of what it may be then I suggest you are an absolute fuc**ng moron”
