“Make it a mega-fight, and split the pot” – Michael Bisping suggests a UNIQUE approach for Conor McGregor vs Nate Diaz 3

Michael Bisping, the former UFC middleweight Champion, spoke about Conor McGregor versus Nate Diaz 3. Whenever these two warriors went up against each other, they didn’t let the fans down, delivering banger after banger. Michael Bisping stated that the McGregor-Diaz trilogy battle could take place outside of the UFC.

Nate Diaz is currently a free agent after his UFC contract expired, and he has previously stated that he wants to try out other combat sports, notably boxing. And the fact that McGregor is still employed by the organization makes it difficult to schedule this match at the moment.

Talking about the possibility of the match Bisping said, “I don’t know the status of his [McGregor’s UFC] contract. But he’s under contract. Okay? And until he’s a free agent, they [McGregor and Diaz] can’t entertain putting on their own promotion because, of course, I’m sure that’s what they’re thinking. Conor and Nate do it together — Paradigm Sports Management, Audie Attar, very, very smart people. Nate Diaz has probably got a great team.”

He also advised that both the fighters can host a fight on their own and split the profit equally between them. He said, “They could go off, do their own fight, make it a mega-fight, and split the pot; take it all to themselves. But it’s not that simple because Conor’s still under contract. So, Nate might be sitting around for a few years. You know, there’s too many pieces in the pie.”
