Michael Chandler expressed dissatisfaction with Ian Garry‘s gym etiquette and training behavior. Despite acknowledging Garry’s talent and potential, Michael was not impressed with his behavior at the gym.

Chandler previously spoke highly of Garry. This was because of his fighting abilities and charisma, comparing him to Conor McGregor. Garry had impressed Chandler since joining the gym, and Chandler had predicted he would become a champion within two years. However, in a recent interview with Ariel Helwani at The MMA Hour, this is what Michael Chandler said:

I don't think he's a bad dude... I don't know about the gym etiquette. He doesn't show up on time all the time and he doesn't show up at every practice, which really ticked me off. But that ticks me off about anybody else. There's only a few people that I would actually say have perfect gym etiquette.

Contrary to speculation, Michael Chandler clarifies that there are no official plans for the McGregor fight at UFC 300. Originally set for April 2024, McGregor’s UFC comeback is now expected to be pushed back to the summer of 2024, as stated by his coach John Kavanagh. McGregor had initially suggested December 2024 as a potential return date. As such, speculation and questions about McGregor’s drive and hunger for a comeback have arisen. However, the return could happen at any time.
