Now, the video of Chandler in the hospital stitched up by the doctor has gone viral on social media. Chandler got 22 stitches in total from the fight. He had 12 stitches over his right eye, six over his left eye, and four on his lips. Chandler’s face looked like a group of assailants attacked him.

The fight between Chandler and Gaethje was not what the fans expected. Fans expected a finish from either party. However, Chandler and Gaethje showed their durability and went all three rounds. Gaethje went on the fight Charles Oliveira for the lightweight title but was unsuccessful at UFC 274. On the same PPV, Chandler rebounded from the loss with a brutal frontkick KO of Tony Ferguson.

Chandler last fought Dustin Poirier but lost via rear naked choke at UFC 287. Incidentally, Gaethje’s last fight was also against Poirier. The fight headlined UFC 291 and was for the BMF title. Gaethje claimed the BMF title with a second-round head kick KO.
