This has heightened fan interest and conjecture in the potential bout.

In an interview with Bussin’ With The Boys, Chandler talked about McGregor’s weakness. He believed that Mcgregor was unable to handle pressure in the octagon. This is what he said:

You guys know my fight style. Conor McGregor is a quitter, especially when the pressure gets to him. Look at the Khabib fight, you look at the Nate Diaz fight, the Dustin Poirier fight. I mean, when he gets pressure put on him … the guy who thinks he’s the alpha dog doesn’t like the pressure, because ultimately, it’s just one big facade of trying to make sure that the entire world doesn’t out him and doesn’t see the real him.

Chandler criticized McGregor’s performance under pressure. He cited battles against Khabib Nurmagomedov, Nate Diaz, and Dustin Poirier. According to Chandler, McGregor falls short when confronted with adversity, giving in to the pressure rather than rising above it. The argument indicates that McGregor’s mental fortitude and ability to manage difficult situations inside the cage are doubtful.

Chandler claims that McGregor’s agility and confidence, previously his vital characteristics, were waning. The prediction was based on the notion that the Irishman’s finest days were behind him.
